As we get closer to the opening of the new school year, the Foundation for WNY Catholic Schools reminds those who support Catholic education they have an alternative to finically support a school. Since the Foundation has no affiliation with the Diocese of Buffalo, we can ensure that all funding given to support a school goes to that school and cannot be touched by the diocesan bankruptcy process. If you wish to donate to a particular school, you can write a check to the Foundation for WNY Catholic Schools and in the memo section of the check place the name of the school you wish the funds to be used. Our Foundation will contact the school and inform them of the available funds. We will spend the funds for whatever purpose the school designates.
Checks should be mailed in our name to 110 Wayne Ave, Amherst, N.Y. 14228. Donors will also receive a letter from the Foundation acknowledging the donation and its purpose which can be used for tax purposes. Donors can also donate online at cclcbuffalo.org on the donate page. There is a place on that page to designate your school.
