The Foundation for WNY Catholic Schools announces that St. Peter RC School in Lewiston is the second recipient of a STREAM grant for their innovative program at the school. Pictured are the school’s Art teacher, Mrs. Ann Rychlik, Fr. Luke Uebler, Dr. Michael C. LaFever Foundation President and some of the school children who participated in creative project. The school created rosaries for the month of October which is the month of the rosary and the month of Mary. The entire student body from Pre-K 3 to 8th grade participated in the project. The rosaries were used as gifts to school visitors and to school sponsors.
The school was awarded a $3,000 check from the Foundation. Funds were through the generosity and memory of Jeanne and Thomas Comer who were tremendous financial supporters of STREAM programming in our Catholic schools.
